This black Harpsicle® Harp is discounted from minor blemishes in the finish but it does not affect the quality of the harp. This harp has what is called “open grain.” Open grain is a term when a tree is cut at the wrong angle by a lumber company.  Luckily this issue is only cosmetic and won’t hurt the harp.  It is a brand new harp and the cracking in the lacquer finish would be only cosmetic.  It has barely started appearing, but it is a possibility to expand in the future.  The harp shouldn’t crack all the way through and would only appear as faint lines near the strings. The Harpsicle® Harp is the first and most basic model in the Harpsicle® Harp line. It does not have levers. Comes with tuning wrench and string chart. (Display Stand not included.)
